Terms and Conditions - 


  • The Adrashtabarana Gold Scheme (hereinafter “Adrashtabarana” or the “Gold Scheme”) offered by Abaran Timeless Jewellery Pvt Ltd (“Abaran”/the “Company”) facilitates customers to purchase Abaran jewellery by making payments for the same over a ten month period and the customers will be entitled to avail certain discounts subject to these terms and conditions.
  • Pay Rs. 1000/5000 per month for 10 months. During the course of the 10 (Ten) months, the customer has to pay one instalment every month. More than one instalment in a single month will not be accepted.  For Example: X pays Rs. 1000 every month, totaling up to Rs. 10000 for 10 months, then X will get a bonus of Rs. 1000. The cumulative total of Rs. 11000/- can be used to purchase jewellery from Abaran. 
  • A membership card/number will be provided on the payment of the first installment. 
  • Each instalment should be paid on or before the 10th of every calendar month to avail the benefit at the end. Amount once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. 
  • The customer is entitled to take jewellery of his/her choice for the amount paid only on the completion of the 10th month, and the purchase has to be made on or before the completion of the 11th month · 
  • Ornaments will not be given before the completion of the 10th month 
  • Coins and Bullion will not be given against the amount invested 
  • The bearer of the card will be considered the bona fide owner
  • Monthly instalment to be paid at respective Abaran outlet i.e outlet where the membership card was issued initially or via online payment mode if the scheme was availed online. 
  • Applicable rate of Gold/Silver/Platinum will be at the prevailing rate on the date of the purchase after completion of 10 monthly instalments. 
  • A photocopy of bank passbook and any government issued ID is mandatory for enrolment. At the time of enrolment, the Customer should ensure that the Gold Scheme Enrolment Form is signed in the space provided, physically or electronically, as the case may be, accepting these terms and conditions. 
  • A sum of Rs. 1000/5000 will be credited to the membership account on completion of 10 monthly instalments subject to all instalments being paid on or before the 10th of every calendar month 
  • The installment amount shall be fixed and cannot be changed during the course of the scheme. 
  • In addition to the gold and stone charges, all jewellery purchased under the Adrashtabarana scheme will be subject to making charges, wastage charges, material charges, Goods and Services Tax, or any other surcharges, levies as may be applicable/ prevailing at the time of purchase.
  • The Customer will have to purchase the jewellery for the total instalment amount paid and partial purchase is not allowed.
  • The Customer may appoint a nominee at the time of enrolment upon submission of relevant documentation. In the event of death of the account holder, the amount is transferable by the Company only to the person(s) whose nomination has been filled by the account holder in the Enrolment Form at the time of opening the account subject to such nominee producing identity and address proof. In case the account holder does not nominate any person, any claim(s) made by any other person(s) on behalf of the account holder will not be entertained unless such person being a legal heir/duly authorised person claiming the benefits under the Plan, shall produce below documents to the Company:
    • Death certificate of the deceased.
    • Succession Certificate.
    • NOC from other surviving legal heir for redemption.
    • Indemnity undertaking to indemnify Abaran from claims.
    • Will (if any)
    • Along with all other supporting documents and clarifications
  • However, the decision of the Company shall be final on sufficiency of any document in all such cases above and the same shall be binding upon the claimants.
  • The Company reserves the right to alter, amend, add or delete part or whole of the privileges of the Plan without prior notice to the account holder, as long as the same is not detrimental to the interests of the account holder.
  • The liability of the Company or its franchisee(s) or agents under the gold scheme is limited to the extent of instalments/advances paid by the account holder(s) and the discount, as per the Plan and the terms and conditions contained herein, and thus does not lead to any other assurance or warranty whatsoever by the Company.
  • Any conditions that are not explicitly covered above would be the discretion of the Company at the time of transaction/redemption. The decision of the Company in this regard would be deemed as irrevocable and final.
  • Payment can be made by Cash/Cheque/NEFT/Debit card/Credit Card/Payment link which will be sent to your official email address. Abaran shall not be responsible for any online payment failure and money being debited from the Customer’s account. Customers are requested to check with their banks or other service providers for such payment failures. It is the responsibility of the account holder to enter details correctly.
  • Any additional discount given under the Gold Scheme will be deducted at the time of redemption if the customer chooses to discontinue Plan before maturity or breaches the terms and conditions of the Gold Scheme. If you choose to terminate or cancel the subscription, you will be entitled to purchase any product(s) from the store using the amount already paid by you. You will not be entitled for refund of the monthly installments or any portion thereof, paid by you towards the plan. 
  • If you miss paying more than 2 installments within the due date or if you choose to cancel the Plan membership before paying 5 installments, you will not be eligible for special discount and the scheme will stand as invalid. You can purchase plain gold or diamond or silver jewellery at the store using the amount already paid by you.
  •  In case the Customer does not redeem within 400 days, he/she will be refunded with the aggregate instalment amount paid by the Customer until the date of the refund. A discount voucher for the applicable discount amount will be provided which can be utilized only to purchase jewellery from the Company of a value that is equal to or greater than the full value of instalments paid. 
  •  Refunds under the Plan, if any, will be made by way of cheque in the name of the account holder as specified in the Enrolment Form or by online transfer to the bank account as specified in the Enrolment Form, and no cash refund shall be permissible.
  • Abaran reserves the right to alter the above terms & conditions without prior notice to the customer. Disputes if any are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru.
